Shree Ram Welfare Society's High School, Andheri, is one of the oldest and reputed schools in Mumbai's western suburbs. It was started in 1951 by a group of visionaries, originally to cater to the south Indian community in the suburbs. From a small beginning in a shared community hall with just a handful of children, the school today offers education to over 2000 children from all religious, social & economic backgrounds. Our committed team of teachers groom the children in not just formal education but also strive to impart a sense of integrity & an appreciation of the diversity around us.

The School receives Grant-in-Aid from BMC for its Primary Divisions and from State Board for its Secondary Divisions. Presently we have three divisions of SSC Board from pre-primary to 10th Std. levels. Most of our students hail from economically modest backgrounds. 

In the climate of increasing costs and decreasing support from Government grants, we are committed to maintain and improve quality of education and supporting infrastructure. We have recently adopted the latest teaching / learning aid, such as the Smart Class digital teaching system which has been installed in all classrooms much to the delight of students and teachers. Our continuous improvement programme includes improving infrastructure, constructing new classrooms, upgrades to all existing classrooms and facilities such as toilets, laboratories and library.

To achieve these goals we need the support of well-wishers and patrons of education. Improved educational standards offer the best guarantee for the betterment of society.
